Georges St. Pierre will defend his UFC welterweight title Dec. 11 against Josh Koscheck.
That's the word according to Koscheck, anyway.
Koscheck revealed via Twitter that the date for a rematch between the two rival coaches on the 12th season of The Ultimate Fighter reality TV series.
"Can't wait until tuf 12 airs in Sept! & oh ya did u guys know, that I am going to be the next welterweight champion come dec 11th," Koscheck tweeted.
The title fight has not been confirmed by the UFC and Koscheck didn't say where it would be held.
Toronto and Pittsburgh have been rumoured venues for the rematch of the two 170-pounders -- St. Pierre (20-2) earned a unanimous decision in their first meeting at UFC 74, a non-title fight -- but mixed martial arts still has not received sanctioning necessary for an event to be held in Ontario.
TUF 12, with St. Pierre and Koscheck (17-4) as coaches, recently completed filming and is expected to begin airing in September.
