A 'Rampage' since childhood

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has come clean on his nickname. On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jackson explained he's had the name since he was eight. His cousins started calling him Rampage because of his over-the-top temper as a child.
Edgar-Penn at UFC 118
UFC 118, the fight club's first show in Bosotn, will take place Aug. 28 at TD Garden and be headlined by Frankie Edgar putting his lightweight belt on the line against former champ B.J. Penn. Also, Randy "The Natural" Couture will take on former boxer James Toney.
Payback for Silva stunt
MMAweekly says the UFC is planning a big-event fight on free TV to make up for the embarrassing outing at UFC 112 by Anderson Silva. The middleweight champ drew boos for showboating instead of finishing off Demian Maia.
Kampmann's big plans
Following his UFC 115 win over Paulo Thiago, Martin Kampmann says he wants to fight a big name next. He mentioned Thiago Alves, Jon Fitch and Diego Sanchez as potential contenders.
No pride in icing Liddell
Rich "Ace" Franklin, off for surgery after breaking his left forearm in his KO win over Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell at UFC 115, says he takes no pride in ending Liddell's career. After the loss, UFC president Dana White announced the 40-year-old's career was finished.
