Both guys are tentative at first. Davis connects with a body kick. He follows it up with another. Davis tries for a takedown, but Hardy is defending it against the fence. Davis lands some punches to Hardy's face, but still can't get him to the ground.
Davis finally trips him and starts working his ground-and-pound. Hardy is in trouble here. Davis is caught in Hardy's guard, but passes and takes his back. Hardy is holding on, but Davis is staying on top.
Davis is landing some clean punches to his face, but there's not a lot of power behind them. Hardy is back up and lands a couple knees to the body. Hardy clips Davis with a hard elbow and starts unloading, but Davis clinches and slows him down.
Hardy misses a leg kick. Davis lands a body kick. Hardy connects with a leg kick this time, but takes another shot to the body. Davis with a straight-left. He tries another body kick, but eats a pair of hooks.
Davis lands a straight-left. Another and this time follows it with a right-hook. Hardy catches him with a huge knee! Hardy tries the ground-and-pound, but Davis manages to pull guard.
Davis goes for an armbar, but Hardy pulls his arm out. Davis lands a nasty elbow from the bottom, but Hardy responds with one of his own. The ref stands them up.
Davis ducks a left-hook and goes for the takedown. He can't get it. Davis nails Hardy with a straight-left and takes him down. Davis passes to side-control, but the round ends.
Davis drops him with a straight-left, but Hardy pulls guard. Davis lands a nice elbow and passes to half-guard. Davis goes for a toe hold, but Hardy kicks him off. He stands up, but Davis spins behind him.

Spencer (The King) Fisher vs. Caol Uno
Fisher lands a nice leg kick. Uno tries for a takedown, but Fisher stuffs it and takes control of his head and body. They stand up and clinch against the fence. Fisher starts kneeing his body. Uno works in a couple of his own.
Uno switches and works for the takedown again. The audience is booing now. The ref separates them.
Uno goes for a takedown, but Fisher keeps him at bay with a hard left. Fisher lands a leg kick and follows it with a right-hook.
Uno misses another takedown attempt. They're back to hugging on the fence and the audience boos again. Uno lands a nice left-right combo and the round ends.
Fisher with a nice straight-left, but Uno shoots and gets the takedown. Fisher is back up quickly and knees Uno in the body. They separate.
Uno tries another takedown, but Fisher stuffs it and steps away. Fisher gets another leg kick, but Uno responds with two of his own.
Uno gets another takedown, but is caught in Fisher's guard. Uno postures up, but Fisher trips him and gets back to his feet.
They're back on the fence and Fisher is landing more knees to the body. The crowd boos again. Fisher tries a sweep, but Uno lands on top in half-guard.
Fisher scrambles and is right back to his feet. Uno knees him to the head, but Fisher gets a takedown. Uno is back up now and the round ends. The audience boos again -- they don't seem to understand the sport that well. Very close fight so far.
Uno charges and they're back to the clinch game. Fisher lands an uppercut, but Uno responds with one of his own. Uno gets him to the ground again, but Fisher is back up.
Fisher works more knees to the body. The ref separates them. Fisher connects with a left-straight. Fisher lands a hard right-hook and takes him down. Uno is back up, but takes a knee to the body.
Uno takes him down and secures mount. He starts working in some punches and elbows. Uno is unloading, but the round ends. Close, but Uno controlled the pace and should have won it at the end there.
Winner: Spencer Fisher by unanimous decision. That is a horrible call. Fisher didn't deal much damage at all and was forced to play Uno's game.
Mike (Quick) Swick vs. Ben (Killa B) Saunders
Saunders charges and pulls guard. Interesting strategy for a striker. Swick deals some punches, but can't posture up to get serious leverage on them. Saunders had a butterfly-guard, but seems content to just hold on.
Swick punches the body and starts trash talking him! "Are you going to f---ing hold me all night?" Saunders replies, "Why don't you stand it back up, b---h." Awesome.
Swick unloads with punches in bunches and ends with a knee. Saunders clinches with him on the fence. Swick turns it around and tries some foot-stomps. As the round ends, Saunders rubs Swick's head.
Saunders tries a head kick, but Swick blocks it. Swick lands a couple knees, but Saunders turns it around. Swick takes him down and gets the full-mount. Saunders immediately brings it back to guard.
The ref stands them up after some uneventful ground work. Saunders tries a front-kick. He goes for the Thai clinch, but Swick breaks it.
Swick unloads with punches! Saunders drops and Swick is all over him. The ref calls it!
Winner: Mike Swick by second round TKO.
Mirko (Cro Cop) Filipovic vs. Mostapha Al Turk
Cro Cop's entrance music is Duran Duran... well, only he could get away with that.
Al Turk connects with hard overhand right. He tries a takedown, but Cro Cop just throws him off. Al Turk keeps trying that overhand right. Cro Cop is walking him down.
Cro Cop lands a straight-left. Another one. Al Turk tries a takedown and gets thrown off. Cro Cop swarms Al Turk and drops him. He pounces, but then lets him back up.
Al Turk walks into an accidental eye poke and he's hurt! Cro Cop throws him down and unloads with punches to the face until the ref ends it! Sorry to see it end like that, but it was only a matter of time.
Winner: Mirko Filipovic by first round TKO.
Cheick Kongo vs. Cain Velasquez
Velasquez immediately comes forward. Kongo nails him with a hard straight-right! Velasquez manages to suck it up and take him down. Velasquez has his back and starts working in some punches. Kongo spins out and Velasquez takes side-control.
Velasquez takes full-mount. Kongo spins out, but Velasquez takes his back. He tries a rear-naked choke, but can't secure it. Kongo stands up, but Velasquez has his back and takes him down.
Velasquez presses him on the fence and Kongo gives his back up again. Velasquez keeps punching him, but is more focused on position.
Velasquez is just all over him on the ground. Kongo stands back up, but Velasquez gets a huge slam! He takes full-mount. Kongo spins out, but Velasquez tries a neck-crank.
Kongo tries a single-leg takedown, but can't do anything with it. They stand back up as the round ends. Total domination from Velasquez.
Kongo looks worried. Kongo hurts him again, but clinches with Velasquez!? Bad move.
Velasquez grabs a single-leg and takes him down again. He starts pounding Kongo's face. Velasquez takes his back and is just teeing off on his head. Kongo is not going down with a fight, though.
Velasquez keeps smashing his face. Kongo is back up, but is taken down almost immediately.
Velasquez starts kneeing the body. Kongo is in survival mode here. Velasquez drags him across the floor and works in more knees.
Velasquez connects with a hard right on the ground. Kongo tries a sweep, but the round ends.
Velasquez comes forward, but eats a stiff straight-right. Kongo takes Velasquez down, but Cain is right back on top of him. He takes his back and resumes the pounding.
Velasquez continues to work, but he can't finish him. He knees Kongo's body, but isn't close to stopping him. Kongo is back up and he stuffs the takedown attempt. Kongo charges with punches, but gets taken down again.
Velasquez has side-control. He switches to mount and continues punching him in the face. Kongo survives the round, but can't even stand up. Also, his nose is completely busted open.
Winner: Cain Velasquez by unanimous decision.
Rich (Ace) Franklin vs. Wanderlei (The Axe Murderer) Silva
Silva is being patient, but it's only a matter of time before he explodes. He seems to be looking for something to counter.
Franklin lands a straight-left. Silva tries another, but Franklin responds with a leg kick. Silva throws two hooks, but Franklin avoids them. Another straight-left from Franklin. He follows with a body kick.
Silva tries a head kick. He goes for another. Silva counters a body kick with a takedown. He takes a huge swing, but Franklin avoids it.
Silva is landing some good shots, though. Silva stands up and dives in with a right. Franklin is up and takes Silva down. He tries his own ground-and-pound. He takes the full-mount, but Silva gets back to his feet.
Franklin connects with another straight-left as the round ends.
Franklin told his corner that he thinks he broke Silva's nose.
Silva looks tired. Silva lands a good body kick. They trade punches a bit and separate. Franklin with an inside leg kick. Franklin throws himself off-balance and almost eats a huge right. He lands a hard body kick, but his hands are down.
Silva tries a head kick, but Franklin blocks. Franklin needs to tighten his stand-up here, he looks to be getting overconfident. Silva keeps trying huge overhand punches, but Franklin is avoiding them all.
Franklin punishes Silva with a body kick. Silva hurts him with a hard overhand right and is starting to swarm! Franklin has his back to the fence. Silva goes for a Thai clinch, but Franklin avoids it. Silva is slipping a lot on his kicks now.
Franklin tries a straight-right, but doesn't land. Silva looks really tired, but he keeps coming forward. Franklin is tagging him with lefts and ducking away from Silva's counters.
Franklin accidentally kicks Silva in the groin. They restart and are throwing for the fences. Silva hurts him, but Franklin clinches to avoid further damage. Silva tries a head kick, but Franklin moves out of the way.
Stiff jab from Franklin -- Silva's head snapped back. Silva unloads with punches against the cage, but Franklin takes him down! Silva is back up and they trade elbows and punches! The round ends. What a fight! This is going to be a close call.
Winner: Rich Franklin by unanimous decision. The crowd doesn't like that at all.
