Georges St. Pierre had his biggest on-paper payday at UFC 94. St. Pierre made $400,000 for beating B.J. Penn, who took home $125,000. Lyoto Machida made $120,000 for beating Thiago Silva and Karo Parisyan made $80,000 for his victory over Dong Hyun Kim.

RECORD BUY FOR UFC 94

If UFC president Dana White's predictions are true, UFC 94 will go down as the fight club's largest pay-per-view buy. White told the Las Vegas Sun he estimates 1.3 million people parted with at least $40 each to purchase the fight. UFC 94, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, drew a crowd of 14,885 and a live gate of about $4.3 million, according to UFC brass.

UPDATED MONTREAL CARD

Montreal's next UFC card is coming together. It's official that middleweight champ Anderson Silva will face Thales Leites. Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will co-headline UFC 97 on April 18. Also scheduled so far:

- Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Brian Stann

- Ed Herman vs. David Loiseau

- Jason MacDonald vs. Nate Quarry

- Xavier Foupa-Pokam vs. Denis Kang

MACHIDA WAITING

Lyoto Machida, who has an unblemished 14-0 record, will have to wait to see what happens between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Keith "Dean of Mean" Jardine before he learns of his next fight. White says if Jackson wins, he will take on Sugar Rashad Evans for the light-heavyweight title. If Jackson loses, Machida will be first in line for a title fight.

ARLOVSKI CASHES IN

Andrei Arlovski may have lost the fight, but he was a big winner at the bank. Arlovski made $1.5 million for his first-round loss to Russian powerhouse Fedor Emelianenko on Jan. 24. Emelianenko made $300,000. Other big winners of the Jan. 24 Affliction: Day of Reckoning include Josh "The Babyfaced Assassin" Barnett, who made $500,000, and Vitor Belfort, who took home $200,000.
