UFC boss Dana White says even if Georges St. Pierre defends his welterweight belt against B.J. Penn at UFC 94 Jan. 31, the Montreal brawler won't get an immediate shot at Anderson Silva's middleweight crown. Instead, St. Pierre would have to face No. 1 welterweight contender Thiago Silva.

B.J. AIRS PRIMETIME BEEF

Penn blames selective editing of UFC Primetime on Spike TV for questions about his training. Parts of the show leave the impression Penn is off on vacation with his girlfriend when he should be in the gym. Penn has been dogged in the past by allegations he doesn't take his training seriously. He says nothing could be further from the truth, and that he will be more than ready for St. Pierre.

ST. PIERRE COVERS FITNESS

St. Pierre has long been called the UFC's poster boy. Now the chiselled Quebecer appears on the cover of the latest Men's Fitness magazine. The magazine looks at St. Pierre's intense training before fights and offers training tips from his coaches.

BAM! MFC CARD SET

Maximum Fighting Championship has unveiled its Feb. 20 card for the River Cree Casino near Edmonton. MFC 20 will feature welterweight champ Pat "Bam Bam" Healy making his first title defence against former champ Ryan "The Real Deal" Ford. There will also be a lightweight title match between Derrick "The Eraser" Noble and Antonio "Mandingo" McKee. The fight is available on HDNet.

BREAKTHROUGH ON DVD

UFC 88 Breakthrough, featuring the flash KO of Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell at the fists of "Sugar" Rashad Evans, and the Ultimate Knockouts 6 compilation will be released on DVD next week.
