Cops nab The Dentist

UFC fighter Josh "The Dentist" Neer was arrested after allegedly driving while intoxicated and being involved in a high-speed chase with police. Neer, scheduled to take on Mac Danzig at UFC Fight Night 17, was arrested after reportedly hitting a police car and fleeing. There was a 15-minute police chase that followed the New Year's Day incident. Neer has posted bail.

MAIA TAKES ON SONNEN

Middleweight ground whiz Demian Maia will take on former WEC fighter Chael Sonnen at UFC 95 in February, according to reports on Maia's website. Maia, who has a perfect 9-0 record, is considered the top middleweight contender for Anderson Silva's crown.

UFC 92 PAYDAYS

Here's a list of who made what at last week's UFC 92:

- Rashad Evans made $130,000, including his $65,000 win bonus for beating Forrest Griffin, who took home $100,000. They also received $60,000 each for fight of the night.

- New interim heavyweight champ Frank Mir made $90,000, including a $45,000 win bonus for beating Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who took home $250,000.

- Quinton Jackson made $325,000 -- which includes a $100,000 bonus -- for beating Wanderlei Silva, who got $200,000. Jackson got $60,000 for KO of the night.

- C.B. Dollaway made $20,000, including a $10,000 win bonus for beating Mike Massenzio, who got $5,000.

- Cheick Kongo made $90,000, including a $45,000 win bonus for beating Mustafa Al Turk, who got $7,000.

- Yushin Okami made $32,000, including a $16,000 win bonus for beating Dean Lister, who got $19,000.

- Antoni Hardonk made $28,000, including a $14,000 win bonus for beating Mike Wessel, who got $4,000.

- Matt Hamill made $20,000, including a $10,000 win bonus, in his defeat of Reese Andy, who got $15,000.

- Brad Blackburn made $14,000, including a $7,000 win bonus for beating Ryo Chonan, who got $18,000.

- Patrick Barry made $10,000, including a $5,000 win bonus for beating Dan Evensen, who got $4,000.
