BLOW BY BLOW

Hello everyone and welcome to the UFC 87 Blow by Blow; as always I'm your host Neil Springer. With the exception of Emerson vs. Gamburyan, this is a solid card.

Before we get to the event, I want to touch on something personal.

Following my 'Affliction: Banned' coverage I received a number of e-mails regarding my constant use of the word "blasts." While scrambling to type and keep on top of the action, I'm not always using my inner-thesaurus.

So for today's show I promise not to use it once. No, wait; hold on a second -- blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts, blasts. Alright, I think it's finally out of my system.

Now I promise not to use it.

WHY I HATE ROGERS CABLE

Okay, once again I'm having more problems with Rogers Cable -- this also happened during the Affliction show. I'm trying to get it resolved, but Rogers has the single worst customer service line out there.

I ordered the show ahead of time, but when it comes time to start watching the event, I get an error message saying my purchase can't be processed. So now I'm on hold and have an automated message telling me how valued my call is -- what a crock.

How the hell does a company with service this horrible manage to have so many customers? I've been on hold for over 20 minutes now.

So I've now reached the half-hour mark of being forced to listen to crappy music through my phone while waiting to hear a voice that isn't an automated message telling me how much Rogers loves me.

I've just ordered a pizza to keep myself occupied -- I'm guessing it will arrive before I get through to a Rogers customer service agent.

I've now just resorted to streaming it illegally on the web.
