By Georges, He's Ready to Move Up

Roger "El Matador" Huerta, who has spent a lot of time training with welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre, told mmarated.com that the Montreal native is planning to move up to the 185-lb. class. Once that happens, Huerta says he'll move up to welterweight. Huerta also said he'd never fight St. Pierre because the two are too close.

STARS TO HIT MMA EXPO

Toronto is the place to be for MMA fans this weekend. The International Centre by Pearson Airport will host the Third Annual Mixed Martial Arts Expo today and Sunday.Traditional martial arts, such as karate, judo, kung fu and jiu-jitsu will be featured, as well as autograph sessions with Matt Serra, Sean Sherk, Dan Henderson, Shonie Carter, Frank Trigg, Carlos Newton, Andrei Arlovski and many others.

UFC TIX UP FOR GRABS

Tickets for the UFC's answer to Affliction: Banned went on sale yesterday. The card -- slated to go head to head against the virgin Affliction show July 19 -- will be free on Spike TV and will feature Anderson "Spider" Silva taking on James Irvin in a light heavyweight bout. The UFC is billing it as Silva testing the light-heavyweight ranks after cleaning out the middleweight division.
