NO ROOM IN THE RING

Dan Henderson admits he's in a bit of limbo these days.

"I have no idea who I'm fighting next, or when, or where," says the former two-time U.S. Olympic wrestler.

"I don't even know what weight class," adds the former Pride middleweight and light-heavyweight champ.

"I'm going to try to pin them down to get some answers on that this weekend."

The wrestling standout still has four fights left on his UFC contract.

STORYBOOK ENDING

Matt (The Terror) Serra isn't the only American jokester on the UFC 83 card. Former middleweight champ Rich (Ace) Franklin drew some laughter when asked to visualize the perfect ending to his fight against Travis Lutter. Franklin said in an ideal scenario, the two would step into the middle of the cage, Lutter would faint and fall and Franklin would have his arms raised in victory. "If that happened, my hands wouldn't even get hurt."

AROUND THE HORN

Winnipeg's Joe (El Dirte) Doerksen will have experience in his corner for his fight against Alberta's Jason MacDonald. Doerksen, with 45 pro fights under his belt has been training with Jeremy Horn, who is the grand-daddy of all MMA fighters with more than 130 pro fights.

BOCEK STAYS LOOSE

Pressure? What pressure? Toronto's Mark Bocek says there's zero additional strain on him to win his fight against Mac Danzig tomorrow night.

"I think all the pressure's on Mac," says the Team Quest-trained lightweight.

"He's The Ultimate Fighter (reality show) winner and he's the guy that everyone knows. At the same time, he's never beaten anyone great so he's got to get through me to prove that he's legit. I don't see that happening."
