Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be fighting in familiar turf in the new year.

The former star of the Japanese Pride Fighting Championship will take on Ryan Bader at UFC 144 in Saitama, Japan. UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta leaked news of the fight on ESPN.com.

Kampmann vs. Alves

MMAweekly is reporting Martin Kampmann will take on Thiago Alves at a UFC event in March 2012. Kampmann is coming off a decision win over Rick Story, while Alves is coming off a submission victory over Papy Abedi.

Werdum wants return

Former UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum told MMAJunkie Radio he is looking to return to the fight club. The man who ended Fedor Emelianko’s 28-fight undefeated streak says he wants to take on the world’s top heavyweights. Werdum lost his last fight by decision over Alistair Overeem.
