Two titles are on the line as Nick Diaz defends the Strikeforce welterweight strap against Paul (Semtex) Daley and Tatsuya (Crusher) Kawajiri challenges lightweight kingpin Gilbert (El Nino) Melendez.

Former light-heavyweight champion Gegard (The Dreamcatcher) Mousasi takes on UFC veteran Keith (The Dean of Mean) Jardine. In a battle of grapplers, Shinya (Tobikan Judan) Aoki faces Lyle (Fancy Pants) Beerbohm.

Shinya Aoki vs. Lyle Beerbohm

Round one

They touch gloves and Aoki tries a head kick. Beerbohm shoots and presses him against the cage. He works knees to the legs and body. Aoki trips him to the mat. Beerbohm goes to his knees and Aoki takes his back. Aoki switches to a body triangle and twists a neck crank. Beerbohm taps!

Winner: Shinya Aoki via first-round submission (neck crank)

Wow, they show both Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta in the audience. So much for business as usual.

Gegard Mousasi vs. Keith Jardine

Round one

Jardine starts by throwing the jab out. He misses an overhand right. Jardine takes him down, but Mousasi immediately sweeps him and they're back up. Jardine lands a leg kick. Follows with one to the body. Jardine with another leg kick. Mousasi clinches him. He delivers some knees and punches to the body before breaking.

Jardine tries for another takedown. After a bit of work he gets it. Mousasi attempts to switch to a kimura, but stands up with it. Jardine takes him back down again. Mousasi kicks him off and is back up. Mousasi with a hard straight right. Jardine is breathing hard and retreating. Mousasi charges forward and lands big punches.

Jardine takes him down out of desperation. Mousasi lands an illegal upkick and they stop the action to let Jardine recover.

The ref takes a point from Mousasi. Jardine lands a leg kick. Mousasi starts stalking him and lands more punches. Big leg kick from Mousasi as the round ends. 9-9 due to the point deduction.

Round two

Jardine starts with a jab. Mousasi with a hard leg kick. Mousasi clips him with a straight right. Mousasi keeps trying to land huge punches, but Jardine is doing a good job of avoiding the full force. Mousasi lands a big body kick.

Jardine is bleeding a lot below his eye and Mousasi is hunting him. Mousasi with a counter jab. Jardine tries a weak takedown and Mousasi stuffs it. Jardine finally gets another takedown and Mousasi punches from the bottom. Mousasi sweeps him and is back to his feet. Mousasi with a right hook.

Jardine is bleeding all over the place. He eats a big right and retreats. Mousasi charges, but Jardine takes him down again. Mousasi is right back up. 10-9 for Mousasi. He did all the damage.

Round three

Mousasi tags him with a jab. They clinch and Mousasi lands a knee and follows with a left hook. The knee appears to have been low, so the ref stops the action again.

Mousasi continues to stalk him. Jardine shoots for another takedown. Mousasi delivers elbows to the side of the head and Jardine gives up. Now Mousasi takes him down and slaps on a standing guillotine! It's tight, but Jardine pops his head out.

Mousasi trips him down and unloads with elbows. He takes full mount, but Jardine kicks off the wall to escape. Jardine shoots for another takedown, but can't get it. Mousasi goes back to unloading with punches, but the ref stops the fight because Jardine has lost his mouthpiece.

Mousasi lands a big right and follows with a jab. Mousasi takes him down and rains punches from the top. Jardine is trying to scoop his leg, but Mousasi flattens him out. Mousasi keeps grinding away as the round ends. 10-9 Mousasi; 29-27 Mousasi overall.

Jardine is a total mess. That fight was all Mousasi.

Decision: Majority draw!? (29-27, 28-28, 28-28). Are you kidding me? Mousasi killed him the entire fight. That is one of the absolute worst decisions in MMA history. Jardine had nothing but takedowns and he did nothing with them. Horrible.

Gilbert Melendez vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri

Round one

Oh God. Cecil Peoples is the ref.

Melendez clips him with a right on the ear. Again, and Kawajiri is wobbled. Melendez backs him against the cage and unloads with a couple hard punches. Melendez wobbles him with a big knee. Kawajiri goes down and Melendez takes the back against the fence. He works hammer fists. Kawajiri is back to his feet and Melendez delivers knees to the body.

Melendez clubs him in the ear. They break and Melendez lands a hard straight right. Kawajiri delivers one of his own, though. Kawajiri with a jab. They trade big shots, but Kawajiri is getting smoked. He misses a takedown and Melendez unloads with elbows and the ref stops it! What a performance by Melendez.

Winner: Gilbert Melendez via first-round TKO (elbows)

Nick Diaz vs. Paul Daley

Round one

Diaz immediately starts taunting him. He checks a leg kick. Diaz with a jab and follows with a body punch. Diaz misses a takedown and Daley unloads with punches on the ground! Diaz is in trouble, but he gets back to his feet. Wow, that was close.

Diaz delivers a big jab and unloads with punches to the body. He presses him against the cage and works in short punches to the head and body. Diaz in unloading and now Daley is in trouble! Daley takes him down out of desperation.

He presses Diaz against the cage. Diaz is back up. Right hook, leg straight from Diaz. Diaz charges forward, but is eating counter shots. Diaz with a big elbow. Daley grabs the Thai clinch and knees him in the face. Daley is swinging wild now. Daley drops him with a big hook, but Diaz is surviving the onslaught by kicking him off. Daley dives in with punches, but Diaz is controlling his posture now.

Daley steps out and they stand up. Daley moves forward, but eats a counter. Diaz wobbles him with a huge uppercut, but Daley throws him off and then hits the ground. Weird. Diaz pounces with punches and the ref stops it! What a crazy fight.
