MONTREAL - Boxing mogul Don King was in the other guy's corner but still had high praise for Adonis "Superman" Stevenson.

The big-haired American promoter, who likes to use big words, had nothing but compliments for the big-punching Montrealer who stopped Tavoris Cloud in dominating fashion Saturday at the Bell Centre.

Cloud, a former light-heavyweight world champion, didn't come out for the eighth round after Stevenson pounded him relentlessly and opened up nasty cuts over both eyes.

"Superman was here, we did not have the Kryptonite," King told reporters after Stevenson's first WBC light-heavyweight defence.
