Boxer Jean Pascal calls out fellow Canadian Lucian Bute

MONTREAL - Former WBC light-heavyweight champion Jean Pascal wants a piece of fellow Canadian Lucian Bute, but he isn't being charitable towards his more celebrated rival.

Canada's top two fighters have yet to meet during careers that took both to the heights of the sport prior to recent defeats that have them on the comeback trail.

While Pascal has fought against bigger names, including Chad Dawson and Bernard Hopkins, Romanian-born Bute is better loved by fans, learning to speak French and becoming a Canadian citizen.

Now Pascal (27-2-1, 16 KO) says it's time for Bute (31-1, 24 KO) to put it all on the line by fighting another top Canadian fighter for the first time.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
