Tax officials in the Phillipines have filed a criminal complaint against boxing champion and entertainer Manny Pacquiao for failing to submit documents in an ongoing investigation.

The fighter faces two years behind bars if he's found guilty.

Pacquiao has reportedly failed to submit the documents following warnings and a subpoena.

The case is now in the hands of prosecutors who must decide if there is enough evidence against the boxer to take the matter to court.

Pacquaio, who is currently training for a fight in America, is one of the world's 25 richest athletes, according to Forbes magazine.
