Rachel Homan's Ontario rink remains unbeaten at Scotties Tournament of Hearts

KINGSTON, ONT. - Rachel Homan is dialed in. So is the rest of her young team of elite shotmakers.

And now, the Ontario foursome, out of the Ottawa Curling Club, is on a collision course with the only other undefeated team at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts -- a Thursday morning wakeup call against Manitoba's Jennifer Jones.

While it came down to the last shot in Jones' 8-5 win over previously unbeaten Team Canada, Homan put Saskatchewan's Jill Shumay away early, scoring four in the eighth end and getting the early handshakes in an 8-2 win.

It was impressive. Players have known for awhile what curling fans are seeing up close. Homan, Emma Miskew, Alison Kreviazuk and Lisa Weagle are the future. And what a brilliant future it is.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
