In July, Mike McEwen and Dawn Askin will say "I do" and tie the knot at the Ottawa Golf and Hunt Club.

It was a guy meets girl, girl likes guy, guy likes girl thing back when Askin was a 19-year-old -- with McEwen in Ottawa for a junior superspiel at The Granite, with the young Manitoban, from Brandon, billeting with the Askins -- Dawn's mother Jane and father Wayne.
