CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Ontario and Saskatchewan remain perfect through five games at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Monday night.

Ontario’s Rachel Homan won her fifth straight, 6-5, over B.C., while Amber Holland of Saskatchewan kept pace with a 7-6 win over Quebec.

Homan and Holland are set to square off Tuesday afternoon.

Host PEI delivered the upset of the tournament, surprising Team Canada’s Jennifer Jones, 8-6, much to the delight of a near-capacity crowd of 3,278 at the Charlottetown Civic Centre.

The loss dropped Jones, the three-time defending champ, to 3-2, good for a share of third place with Nova Scotia’s Heather Smith-Dacey and Alberta’s Shannon Kleibrink.

Kleibrink defeated Newfoundland, 8-5, Monday night.
