Ontario still waiting for sportsmanship award

LONDON, Ont. -- Ah, the Harstone Trophy.

It's presented each year at the Brier to the player chosen by his peers to best represent the legacy of Ross G.L. Harstone by showing good sportsmanship, observance of the rules, exemplary conduct and curling ability.

In other words, being a good guy.

According to a list of winners that goes back to the trophy's 1966 beginning, every provincial team (and Northern Ontario and the Yukon/Northwest Territories squad) has had a Harstone winner at least once.

Every team, that is, except one.

While British Columbia has had eight Harstone winners, after all these years no one from Ontario has ever been given the award. Must be an oversight.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
