Winnipeg skip Jennifer Jones ended her storybook season with another victory, downing Ottawa's Rachel Homan 5-2 to win the Grand Slam of Curling Players' Championship, Sunday in Summerside, P.E.I.

The Olympic-winning Jones team, comprised of third Kaitlyn Lawes, second Jill Officer and lead Dawn McEwen, put the game out of reach with a steal of one in the eighth end to defeat Homan, who successfully defended their Scotties title and earned silver at the world championship this year.

In the final, Jones scored a deuce in the third end to snap a 1-1 tie. Each team traded singles in the fifth and sixth ends, with Jones adding an insurance point when Homan missed on her final shot in the eight end. With the win, Jones takes home $23,500 with an additional $12,500 in Grand Slam bonus money for leading the women's teams in points this season.
