For the second time in three years, an Edmonton Saville rink has won a world junior curling title.

Kelsey Rocque broke a long-standing jinx when she won the first title by a Canadian team in 11 years. Brendan Bottcher won the men’s title in 2012.

The Fort Saskatchewan native and her supporting cast of third Keely Brown, second Taylor McDonald and lead Claire Tully outlasted South Korea’s Kyeong-Ae Kim 6-4 in Wednesday morning’s final.
