LAS VEGAS - Curling hasn’t seen the last of Las Vegas. In fact, the closest thing there is to a sure thing bet here is that it will be back two years from now.

And make book on another thing.

The legacy of what happened here will have far ranging effects in terms of dressing up and lightening up a lot of old worn out tired traditions at major curling competitions going forward.

“We’re talking about being back here as early as two years from now if everything is to pull together,” said Canadian Curling Association events manager Warren Hansen.

The feeling is that the word of mouth rave reviews from the approximately 4,000 Canadians — about two thirds of them from Alberta and Saskatchewan — it would be stupid of the sport to waste any time getting back.

TSN commentator Russ Howard says the fans will hurry hard to get back here.
