WINNIPEG - Surrendering seven steals in one game may be some sort of trials record but, luckily for her, that does not appear in the record book anywhere.

After Manitoba's Jennifer Jones gave away that many points in a loss to Alberta's Val Sweeting on Monday, she admitted she needed a "kick in the butt."

Well, that good, swift boot worked as Jones rebounded with a 7-2 spanking of Alberta's Renee Sonnenberg in just eight ends before 6,292 witnesses at the MTS Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Ironically, Jones stole five of her seven points against Sonnenberg — just two short of her unwritten record.

So, how many times did she kick herself in the wake of giving the game away to Sweeting?
