EDMONTON - Dave Nedohin figures he might see his wife a couple times in the next 10 days in Winnipeg.

“We’ll be staying in the same hotel. So we might see each other passing in the lobby,” said Kevin Martin’s new teammate.

“We’re playing in the same arena but we’re never on the ice at the same time. But we might pass in the hallway.

“Heather rooms with her third Beth Iskiw. They always room together. Our team prefers separate rooms.

“I’ll watch Heather’s games most of the time on TV and maybe sneak down for an end or two before we play. But I’m sure we will almost never see each other.”

Heather Nedohin departed with her 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts title team of Iskiw, second Jessica Mair, lead Laine Peters, fifth Amy Nixon and coach Darryl Horne for the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Olympic Trials Thursday.
