CALGARY - You might think having a guaranteed spot at the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts would have made the experience of watching the 10 provincial championships that took place this weekend less stressful than competing for Heather Nedohin.

Nope, it turns out sitting on the sidelines was just as stressful as being out on the ice tossing rocks.

“Obviously, it’s comforting knowing you don’t have to go through that weekend, because upsets were happening everywhere, but it was actually kind of nerve-racking because you’ve got a lot of friendships across the country and you’ve got those who are ranked higher than others,” Nedohin said.

“To see those come out who you expected and then those who didn’t, it was actually very exciting from our end.”
