CALGARY - Calgary’s Kevin Koe will enter the 2013 Alberta curling championships as the man to beat.

Koe, who won the 2012 Alberta Boston Pizza Cup (Feb. 6-10), was named the tournament’s No. 1 seed Tuesday. He’ll open the provincial championship at the Leduc Recreation Centre Wednesday, Feb. 6, against the winner of Wade White’s team’s morning game against Matthew Blandford.
