CCA adds bronze-medal game to Scotties, Brier
By QMI Agency

The Canadian Curling Association made a few changes at its annual general meeting last weekend in Ottawa:

Teams will get two one-minute coaching timeouts at national championships, but their clock will continue to run.

A bronze medal game will be played at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts and Tim Hortons Brier.

The Olympic qualifying process for 2014 will take place over two years instead of three, which is what it was for this year’s Olympics in Vancouver.

In addition, the CCA announced a financial surplus of $853,044.

How will Canada fare against France in their Davis Cup tie this weekend?
  Sweep all matches
  Upset win
  Tough loss
  Thoroughly beaten
  Too close to call
