Kelly Scott made herself right at home at the Autumn Gold Classic.

The Kelowna skip beat a pair of Calgarians en route to her first Autumn Gold title yesterday at the Calgary Curling Club.

The defending Scott Tournament of Hearts champion beat Cheryl Bernard 9-3 in the afternoon semifinal before trimming Crystal Webster 8-5 in the final.

The final was tied 3-3 after six ends before Scott and her rink -- Renee Simons, Sasha Carter and Jeanna Schraeder -- broke it open with two in the seventh and three more in the eighth.

Scott also won the Curlers Corner Championship Cup Skins Game. Scott, a former world champion, took home the $14,000 winner's cheque from the $56,000 event.

Her team has played together for five years. The Autumn Gold Classic has been held at the Calgary Curling Club on Thanksgiving weekend since 1978.
