My feelings are exactly the same as Paul Deane, I found game 6 extremely disappointing. I realize now what a great run L.A had and that they are deserving of the Cup. But a game of such significance should never be that influenced by the officials. The only possible worse scenario would have been if it was a game 7. Can you imagine anything like that happening at the Super Bowl!? It all looked very bad on the NHL just as the series was finally getting exciting.

game 6 was the biggest let down i have witnessed in my forty years of watching the stanley cup finals. also the first time in 40 years that i turned the game off before it was over. after the brutal non call on stoll then the major on bernier the kings went up 3-0. game over. kings likely would have won anyways....but the help tey got early in a game from the officials was bush league stuff. so i turned the channel. out come was decided by an official. brutal.

Over all yes they probably deserved it but the abbismal refereeing once again killed the game before it started.

Stoll's hit was equally as bad as the New Jersey hit with no penalty awarded.

It's time the rules applied in the season were applied the same in the post season.

Congrats to the Kings though.
