What's your opinion of the Jets jersey?
Tue, September 6, 2011

The Winnipeg Jets unveiled their home and away jerseys on Tuesday morning in Winnipeg.

The military theme of the logo has carried over to the colour as the two primary colours are two shades of blue - Polar Night Blue (which is found on many of today's Royal Canadian Air Force planes) and Aviator Blue (similar to the colours used by the RCAF).

The dark home jerseys feature the Polar Night Blue (close to navy), with white numbers and white and Aviator Blue stripes on the sleeve.

The white jersey has the Polar Night Blue on the sleeves and features silver, white and Aviator Blue stripes under the numbers on the sleeve.

The primary logo is found on the front of both the home and away jerseys, with the secondary patches on both shoulders.

What's your opinion of the new jerseys? Have your say in our forum.

logo is good but the colours should have been the same colours as the bombers.

Their Jerseys aren't terrific. . .but they aren't ugly either!! They could have done better. Anywho. . .Bruins loss last nite (Dec7, 11) against the Jets sparked PAUL FRIESEN to write how wonderful the Jets were to end Bostons winning streak. He failed to mention that the nite before, Boston played a hard game against Pittsburgh, and that Winnipeg was off. Why sugar coat your story, PAUL FRIESEN.

The jerseys would look better if they were still the Thrasher jerseys. I give the team 10 years before they are moved yet again. The arena is too small, the market is too small. If they dont put a good product on the ice its only a matter of time before the team starts hemorrhaging money. But them back in atlanta jerseys at least there they can grow and encourage youth to get involved, and not be in a market that is already tapped out for youth exposure to the game.

Like the colours and design but don't care for the logo one bit. The logo looks like it belongs on a military magazine but not on a hockey sweater.

The new jerseys are fantastic. They look great and colour scheme is awesome. For those hater's out there (I find most on here are trolls anyway) first learn to spell Reebok properly and also know your history. CFB Winnipeg has been and continues to be one of the largest employers of Winnipeg for the last 70 plus years. Talk about not knowing where you are from. I know I'll wear that jersey around the Forks with pride.

Hopefully the Jets owners will look west and do what the canucks did. There is nothing better than the first.

One comment said "no connection to the city"????. CFB Winnipeg is probably the biggest employer in Winnipeg. Think there might be a connection there. Better than a logo of a drunk passed out on a corner on Portage.Great colours and logo.

Love em..

they are fantastic looking jerseys. Ill get one soon I am sure. The problem with new teams and jerseys, is that its hard to come up with something new. I love the way they incorporated the old with the new.. the colors rock!

Looks like the Air Force's intra-squad jersey.
