Your reaction to Bosh signing with Heat?
Wed, July 7, 2010

RYAN WOLSTAT, QMI Agency

Chris Bosh will be joining Dwyane Wade as a member of the Miami Heat -- as was widely expected.

ESPN's Chris Broussard first reported the package deal and multiple sources with access to Wade quickly confirmed.

What's your reaction to Bosh signing with the Heat? Have your say in our forum.

Raptors have an incompetent GM. He should be fined for his comments on Bosh's play at the end of the season. Raptors are worse w/o Bosh but would be better w/o Colangelo.

Who cares! Good riddance Bosh.

I hope your a big flop in Miami. Just another example of a spoiled rich athlete who doesn't care what city he plays in. There's no such thing as loyalty anymore.

Further to Brad's comments, ... and if the owners ever tried to get together to establish a finite salary ceiling without all the existing loopholes which makes any claim to a cap a complete farce, the players would be screaming "COLLUSION." But apparently it's OK for them to collude without any repercussions from the figureheads posing as the commissioner and his staff.

When all is said and done, though, the ultimate cause of it all - and the biggest suckers in the world - are the fans who keep buying the tickets and sponsor's products. Nor will most of them try to enlighten themselves by reading forums such as this. They're much too busy being fawning, butt-kissing sycophants who derive some vicarious thrill from attending, especially the games of the big-spenders. The rest of the league? Who cares? That's their attitude.

They hold the ultimate weapon to bring, not only basketball but all pro sports, crashing back to earth (and reality) by simply keeping their asses out of the seats.

Don't hold your breathe.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- During a rally for Miami Heat fans Friday night, Chris Bosh said he'd been talking with new teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade about the moment for months. It was a slip, which some -- including Bosh -- quickly noticed. Bosh's statement hinted there was a long-standing plan in place to gather in Miami. That potentially would not only be against NBA rules, but also poor taste -- considering Bosh and James were supposedly completely focused on the task at hand with teams in Toronto and Cleveland.

Bosh quickly revised the statement and said they'd been talking about it for "days." But it was hardly correct. The truth is James, Bosh and Wade had been plotting this for years.

Couldn't agree more, Brad. And with James joining the Heat as well they're beginning to look like the Yankees of the NBA. And still the suckers pay out their hard-earned cash to watch teams in both the NBA and MLB that don't stand a snowball's chance right out of training camp - every year - year after year.

who cares, I hate the NBA - what a waste of airspace, Lebon saga - news for the sake of news - who cares - more wasted airspace.. when people are loosing home left right and center (a litle sports analogy) this stuff on people making millions for sports is a complete disconnect on reality.. thus I say WHO CARES..ARE THEY IMPROVING THE ECONMONY - ARE THEY PHILANTHROPIST? Get your head out of the clouds - who cares about this nonesense. A Depecible lot the whole bunch of them - thats why I do not care about the NBA - too much drugs and stuff...and yes I am painting the whole lot with the same paint brush. My wish - Fans would continue to not buy tickets. Its coming, people are smart - just slow to react..watch what happens to Cavs sales :o)

HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU'ALL!
Trailyard, 2010-07-09 07:50:36

The NBA is a joke anyway... biggest egos in pro sports.
rob, 2010-07-08 22:03:37

Colangelo never was able to give Bosh a '2' to work with off the post...why wouldn't Bosh leave?

Heat, Knicks, Bulls...are all now tougher to beat...

Guess we will find outif Brgnani can step into the shoes left by Bosh...don't count on it.

Lottery yet again next year!
Raptor Fan, 2010-07-07 21:20:29

The Raptors have shown they are a farm team for the NBA. Toronto will never have a winning NBA team as none of the players that reach marque status will stay in TO when there is way more $$$ to be made in the States...Any player coming here knows that NBA second page news. The contract length is about how long it takes to develop them and then they are out for themselves. That said Chris was a class act and did not whine to be traded and played hard when he was here.
brad, 2010-07-07 19:59:47

You were a class act Chis enjoy playing with your new team mates you did your best for the Raptors you don't make trades or sign free agents. This is Bryan's mess sometimes when you gamble big you lose most Gm's show up at 12.01am to try to sign there own free agents this guy claims to have trouble contacting Bosh or his agent who made the presentation that night our mascot?
