Your reaction to Tiger Woods' return?
Tue, March 16, 2010

DOUG FERGUSON, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters in April.

In a statement, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

He last played Nov. 15 when he won the Australian Masters. Less than two weeks later, he crashed his car into a tree outside his Florida home, setting off revelations that he had been cheating on his wife.

What's your opinion on Woods' return? Have your say in our forum.

Tiger Woods as we see him on TV is a persona fabricated by big money and the American psyche to be the winner all the time. Tiger just returned to being his real old self once in a while and we all know the rest. Why don't we forget about this scandalously rich and greedy nobody and talk about the winner of last year's Players' Tournament. Never, probably never will we ever see an act so classy and spectacular as when Henrik Stenson from Sweden won the Players Tournament in 2009. Something for Tiger Woods and all golfers to emulate when winning, instead of jumping up and down, getting down on knees or brandishing a clench fist and showing teeth like a mad horse. VIVA Henrik Stenson who ooses class, class, class. Too bad the world does not have more of you.

Apparently he paid many women for their silence. If I were Tiger, I would be suing them for breach of contract and then I would inform the IRS that these wenches did not report all their income. If you take hush money, you need to shut your filthy yap.

Seriously, who cares. Like he is the only person in the world that cheated. It's news we don't need to hear about. All the sordid details in the paper and we can't get away from it. I Hope to papers realize that this is just tabloid garbage. What is important that it looks good on him for two reasons...the higher you climb, the harder you fall and two...it made that dumb comment about dissing Hockey. So there...Idiot Tiger.

Just goes to prove that all the money in the world doesn't make a man happy. We could all take something out of this.

Regardless of Tiger's past, he is a human being and deserves another chance like anyone gets. He may not win the Masters, but you can bet he will give it a good run. All the best to him.

To all the floozies ( most are paid prostitutes) coming out of the wood work need to give it a rest, I think most people are sick and tired of hearing about them. Remember that is how some of these gals make there living, so don't embarass yourselves anymore and go on with your lives.

His performance on the golf course will reduce or enhance our memories of deeds gone by.

This soap opera will never end! Now we have former porn star Joslyn James who has posted more than 100 texts between her and Woods on her website. Tiger should remember that the Public image made him as much a multi millionnaire as golf has done. He is a public figure and therefore not in control of the events that overtake him. That's life. The gaga golf purists like walking around with one ear and one eye shut. Too bad folks! Your hero is what he is! Nothing more, and nothing less! Watching golf is only a diversion. It is neither a life threatening scenario nor Cancer surgery. It's nothing much more than a walk in the grass.
