Your reaction to Tiger Woods' return?
Tue, March 16, 2010

DOUG FERGUSON, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters in April.

In a statement, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

He last played Nov. 15 when he won the Australian Masters. Less than two weeks later, he crashed his car into a tree outside his Florida home, setting off revelations that he had been cheating on his wife.

What's your opinion on Woods' return? Have your say in our forum.

every sport has someone who goes beyond the boundries of good taste in golfs case john daly, if he does this no one cares, but tiger has sold himself as a great model, and even better bussiness model, however dont sell the world your garbagde when u r a fraud!! he hasnt had enough crap yet because he hasnt been caught in a situation with the media that he hasnt controlled, and last nights interviews were a joke, did he answer a question? the only thing he is sorry for is getting caught. the pga is a joke for puttin up with this clown, there a lot of great players perhaps we could here more about them and less about mr perfect. by the way i like john daly, at least he is real. tiger answer all the questions be a real person. if hes in the lead at any tourny im changin the channel.

It makes me laugh when I see or hear comments about how Tiger is no Arnold or Jack, or how the real gentlemen of golf will not say anything bad about him or the situation. They are pissed, one of their brothers got caught, you don't think that there are many cheaters on tour?? Come on, open you eyes, these guys are millionaires, like many other high paid sports, a high percentage of these guys are or have been unfaithful during their marrage/marrages. Athletes are not saints, you just don't usually get a front row seat to all the dirt like we have for Tigers problems.

Get over it and move on, the game isn't the same without him.

To comment on (cappthook) comments i also wonder how much money he is paying his wife to stay around cause without her he has no image to market or sell he just be a golfer trying to get it in the hole during the day and night!

Tigers still trying to be boss. I say that if Tiger does not win the masters he will stay away saying oh poor me i am not ready yet until the next major then try again cause the majors are good at crowd control.I like the comments from CBS tv that he will not tell them only 5 munites to ask questions.Either have a news conference or not.The real genltemen of golf will not say anything bad about him but he is no arnold p.or jack n.or lee t.or chichi r.these are gentlemen with respect for game the growds and follow players and there love ones.I hope the pga stop sucking up to his every comment.

Old news, lets move on to his incredible talent and how he has changed golf. I hope the best for his family!!
Carolyn Warner, 2010-03-22 13:28:19

He's been portrayed as a clean living decent individual. The ultimate family man. A role model for the kids. He's not!In my opinion a total fraud!

He is certainly welcome back on the PGA Tour, no ratings, less big money tournaments. Good luck to him and his wife and family, I think he's paid enough, lets move on......

This is all about MONEY, the guy gives the exact same answers to every interview, can you say scripted? 3/4 of his wealth is earned on endorsements which are based on his squeeky clean image, he can't maintain his lifestyle if he doesn't clean it up and do damage control. He's a complete fake.
Mark, 2010-03-22 12:57:35

Let he who has no sin cast the first stone. C'mon people, give it up. No one is perfect and we *all* have our vices. What Tiger has done is between his family and his Maker. Let's wish him well and let's MOVE ON.
Dave, 2010-03-22 12:55:58

Two things:

1) He plays golf! All I care about is how he plays golf. I don't care if he fools around on his wife. It has NOTHING to do with me or my life!

2) The women that have come forward are lower on the evolutionary chain than Tiger is. They took money for sex from Tiger. That sure sounds like a prostitute to me. Do these women really believe anyone is going to feel sorry for them? I certainly don't.
