Your reaction to Tiger Woods' return?
Tue, March 16, 2010

DOUG FERGUSON, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters in April.

In a statement, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

He last played Nov. 15 when he won the Australian Masters. Less than two weeks later, he crashed his car into a tree outside his Florida home, setting off revelations that he had been cheating on his wife.

What's your opinion on Woods' return? Have your say in our forum.

A good start. But only that at this point. The test of time will tell us and his family if he is really sorry. And about the paparazzi following his family: might have been helpful if he had made an earlier public appearance to deflect attention from them. I think the fact that he took so long to face up and he did so only after there was no way he could deny what he'd done speaks volumes more than any rehearsed and tightly controlled "apology." Don't worry Tiger, we'll check back in a couple of years to see how this one holds up.

This guy is a Legend. He is a millionaire and has all of these hot women. He dosent owe anything to anyone and should be able to live his life how he wants. Of course he is doing this to appease the public. I dont see anyone looking down on JFK for his indiscretions.

Leave him alone everyone has there skeletons they need to deal with.

I thought that even though it was probably a "crafted" apology- he sincerely doesn't get how much he has truly lost. His own self-worth should be severly damaged. You have to take your own inventory, before you can move on. As far as his mother's body language- I think that she was so nervous and upset that her tight clench on herself was the only comfort zone she could find. I have been there myself and just holding on is all you can do!

Sorry for what, getting caught. Let him fade into the sunset, he had his chances and wasted them. He is now sorry because his income is lost from endorsements and winnings. He keeps score by the cash register and that is not working any more. Good buy good ridence golf will get along just fine without him, someone new will enter the scene and get some limelight. Mr Woods will not be in the spotlight, so he is very very sorry.

So what. It's his problem. He doesn't need to say sorry to us if he doesn't want to. It's his own life that he is ruining. I bet he doesn't give a rat's a** about this role modelling issue.

Awfully pathetic for a sport celebirty who wants things to go back to the way they were.
richard, 2010-02-19 12:18:56

The only thing he should be sorry for is for not having dumped his wife or not marrying her, what has she done to deserve all that money, just another gold digger I tell you. She can go to hell cause she just killed the best golfer of all time. Don't be sorry Tiger, come back to golf.

Boo! Hoo!

This was the most staged thing I have ever heard. Most people would have just let it die. Obviously there is a plan for him to reduce his debt settlement in divorce and what ever publicity he can get from this. Phoney! Phoney! Phoney!
Bob Lozon, 2010-02-19 12:18:04

He's not the only guy that's done that and won't be the last. Get over it people and let him get on with his life.
Craig, 2010-02-19 12:16:01

I did not watch his statement this morning as his life is irrelevant to me and mine. However,he did not break any laws and hurt only himself and his family so I don't think he has to explain or apologize for his actions to any of those out ther who can't get enough of this celebtity bull.Take care of your own lifes people.
