Your reaction to Tiger Woods' return?
Tue, March 16, 2010

DOUG FERGUSON, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters in April.

In a statement, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

He last played Nov. 15 when he won the Australian Masters. Less than two weeks later, he crashed his car into a tree outside his Florida home, setting off revelations that he had been cheating on his wife.

What's your opinion on Woods' return? Have your say in our forum.

he is a great golfer, what he does on his own time is his own business and his wife's business not mine.

Honestly, why is this public, many many people cheat, this should not affect his endorsements. Leave the guy alone !! what he did was wrong, we all know that..but that is his business

My reaction? Who cares? This isn't news, it's celebrity gossip. The only reason Tiger Woods got so much coverage is because the Climategate E-mails were the big topic of the Blogosphere.

Keep reporting crap all you want, just don't be surprised when you lose your 'news' status and become the poor man's E! True Hollywood.

You are not a legitimate news source.

He made some mistakes, haven't we all, including former president Bill Clinton, John F Kennedy to name but a few...The media just won't leave it alone as they have nothing better to do than continually report on something the public seems to have some strange appetite for. What about these women, they new he was married but once again when dollars are involved women are at the forefront, they are just as much at fault but we never here much about them because they aren't the story, when in reality they are the story, give it a rest.....

Never watched it. Never watch Golf or play it. Never intend to play it. Golf and Hockey etc are GAMES folks...not reality. The players are overpaid and made to seem like Gods by fans; these fans who watch these GAMES have got to get a life. They have to join life. These activities are not real life folks, sorry to burst your bubbles. Terry

How can I feel sympathy for an unhappy billionaire? You want real problems Tiger, come to my house.

He should give the wife half and get rid of her, get back to doing what he does best and live the life he wants to live. Tap everything and have fun.

That wife of his sure is hot, though. She must be three shades of bitch for him to cheat on her so badly.

Really people, what is the big deal. What he did really only concerns him and his wife. If this were say Ozzy Osborne or Gene Simmons or some other rock star or actor no one would really care if they apologized or not. If this were some ordinary Joe off the street that had affairs with 18 women, it wouldn't even be a story other then maybe a small blurb in a local newspaper about police reporting to a domestic assault when his wife tee'ed off on his teeth. To be honest, it doesn't change a single thing about what I think about him, only what I think about how people treat you differently if you have money

Looked like a SNL skit.

he's sorry he got caught, thats about it
Paul LAfferty, 2010-02-19 12:29:20

The guy is an iconic figure that has crumbled under the new wave of marital status in this new era. If he was the normal "JOE" we would never hear of it. Because he is a professional athlete with MEGA dollars in endorsements they are viewed to a higher standard. I guess money cannot buy everything, except high ratings for the media machine. Let him be, in life I have always been told, "you learn from your mistakes in life" Hopefully Tiger as learned and turned the page on a new chapter in his life!!!!
