The Montreal Canadiens are holding a news conference to announce a major change in management. Reports are circulating that Bob Gainey, the team's general manager since 2003, will be stepping down.
he should be replacd two years ago. he dit not upgrade the team the fiering cabonneau was his way out den carbonneau was rebuilding the team in a good way.i follow the habs from 1966 to now.

It certainly won't hurt the Habs. Gainey is/has been a terrible GM. I especially hated his firing of Carbonneau and the ridiculous acquisition of Gomez. As for Price, I think he'll be following Gainey out the door very soon.
