To: Brian Burke

Deeply sorry to hear of the passing of your son Brendan.

I have been a Leaf fan for 50 yrs. I go to one game a year with my wife. It has been a difficult yr. for the Leafs but this incident really makes me stop and think about you and your family. I have a daughter and can't imagine how hard it would be to face losing her. May the Lord bless and keep you at this time.

You just made all Leaf fans so happy cuz of the recent trade. It was like an overnight MIRACLE for us. Thank you for the great job you and your staff did to make this possible.

Myself, my wife Liz and my daughter Emily give our sincere condolences to you and pray that you will find a special strength in the Lord during this time of grief.

Sincerely Tom.

So Very Sorry.

To the Burke family, We are so sorry to hear about Brendan and his friend Mark. A second changes so much, but not the fact that Brendan was a hero to us, and thousands of kids who are so scared because they're different. Brendan showed that character is all that matters. To Ms Burke and Ms Reedy, I hope that there is some small consolation in the future that your sons are together on one last adventure. Blessings to everyone who loved those exceptional young men.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Brian and his family. We lost a 17 year old boy in a car crash several years ago and it is most difficult to deal with. It is so sudden and with all their life ahead of them it is devastating. Our prayers are with you Brian. Don and Anita

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our deepest sympathies. I as a father can't even begin to imagine how devastating this is.

It's always hard to lose someone you love, but it hardest to lose someone who is still young with so much left to experience and to offer to the world. My deepest sympathies to the entire Burke family. Brendan was obviously a fine young man, much loved by all who knew him.

No parent wants to outlive their children. There are memories still, relive them is all I can say,

So sorry.

The empty feeling we had when hearing the news will never be forgotten. We were so proud of Brendan for the respect given last night at the ACC by all the members of Leaf nation. Well deserved. Sincere condolences from us.
