Brendan Burke, the 21-year-old son of Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke, died at the scene of a two-car accident Friday in snowy conditions near Economy, Ind.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Burke family along with the Leafs family. I have 3 of my own boys and even though they are very young I can't imagine what you are going through. Take care and God Bless.

we will certainly remember you and your family as well as your son. We have a 23 year old son and can only imagine how this feels.

To the Burke family
I was stunned to read of your loss of Brendan in that tragic accident. I lost my own brother to cancer just over 3 years ago, but at least we were able to prepare ourselves for the inevitable. I cannot imagine the sudden sense of shock you must be feeling.
My deepest sympathies

Dear Mr. Burke,
I cannot imagine what you and your family are feeling at the loss of your dear son Brendan. I have no children of my own but in my heart I feel that to lose a child must be the worst loss in one's life. I am so very sorry that this has happened. Your comments about Brendan last November touched my heart as your love and support for him were so perfect and unconditional. What a wonderful dad-son relationship. He was lucky to have you and you to have him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
