Brendan Burke, the 21-year-old son of Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke, died at the scene of a two-car accident Friday in snowy conditions near Economy, Ind.
I don't have the honour of saying I know Brendan personally, but I was deeply touched by his courage and bravery this past year. It's tragic that such an intelligent and passionate young man has passed.
Deepest Condolences.

Dear Mr. Burke, my sincerest condolences to your family, and to the Reedy family.
Grief is immeasurable, but losing a child is unfathomable. I can't imagine what you and your family must be going through, and while no words that anyone will ever say to you will ease your pain, know that you're in my thoughts, and my heart weighs heavy for you.
I hope in some small way you find comfort knowing that Leafs faithful like myself and others, are there with you spiritually.
Best Regards,
Lee Ann (aka Leaf Ann)
