What are your thoughts on Tiger Woods?
Wed, December 2, 2009

Tiger Woods says he has let his family down and regrets "those transgressions with all of my heart."

In a statement Wednesday on his website, Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.

In his statement, Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

He also said he has been "dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means."

What are your thoughts on Woods' alleged extra-marital relationships? Have your say in our forum.

would just like to say ,he is human and cheated on his wife(being famous gave him ample opportunity)big stinkin deal.there is no story here unless she did it to or he was an abuser ,or drugs were involved ,something. still I say that he should have known better Mike

Here's the bottom line in this scenario. Tiger earns over $100 million annualy, most of it from endorsements. These endorsements have been effected for 2 reasons:

1) Tiger is the greatest golfer of this era;

2) Tiger is squeeky clean and a role model for all resreational golfers, especially the younger generation.

This squeaky clean image has made him the wealthiest sports celebrity in history. That his recent actions have tarnished his reputation will, or at least should, result in a withdrawal of monetary sponsorships by the corporations who have made him so rich.

Shame on you Tiger for being so stupid and for exposing your beautiful wife and two children to your selfish desires.

Let him and his family deal with everything in private. I'm sick of the media prying into the personal lives of "celebs" just to sell a magazine. People need to get a life and realize this stuff happens everyday. I don't condone what he has done. There will be a lot of work ahead to right things and he should be able to do this privately. I feel bad for his wife and kids.

Too bad for his family, but to all the people who think because he is famous it is our right to know all the details of something that is all too common, GET A LIFE AND STOP WATCHING TMZ AS YOUR MAIN SOURCE OF NEWS!

a hottie like Nordegren.. ?

then he chases bar trash... proves what most real people think. He is a spoiled brat.

She should fix him real good... take 1/2 of his current and future earnings and leave him.

That woulkd knock him down a few pegs...

Just another wealthy jock getting back-stabbed by a woman. Nothing changes.

He is human under a lot of pressures and did not manage them well - as he has stated. It is for him and his wife to deal with - not the free world. He will pay enough for these matters in more ways then the rest of us.

he is human give it up !!!!!!!!!

A lot of comments about Tiger is human like the rest us and just us. Well....he's not. It is true he is human.....with special privileges, which came to light when he showed he is above the law with the accident incident and avoided any police interaction/interview. Could the average Joe get away with this? So take a person that is above the law, and trot out the mistress scandal and you have the perfect storm. Best Tiger Quote - “The stability that I have in my life off the golf course has definitely made me a better person on the golf course,” There goes the ol golf game.
