Tiger Woods says he has let his family down and regrets "those transgressions with all of my heart."
In a statement Wednesday on his website, Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.
In his statement, Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.
He also said he has been "dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means."

Woods regrets 'transgressions'
One of the announcers commented that Tiger withdrew from the tournament as a result of his involvement in a car accident - Period. That's like someone pushing someone else of a high building and saying that the pushee died as a result of hard impact with the ground - doesn't quite cover the whole story.
Seems like all of Tiger's sponsors, the PGA, the networks et al are in denial and "nothing to see here" mode, in the interest of protecting the "Tiger" brand and all of the dollars that it generates for them. As I said in my previous post, check your morals at the door when it comes to protecting revenues.

So on top of being a cheater, he's also a liar.
He was meaning to lie, it was only because more and more proof was coming to light that he decided to admit to anything.
He's a cheater and a liar. I wouldn't want him endorsing my product lines.

I don't care for golf and I do even less now.
