What are your thoughts on Tiger Woods? Wed, December 2, 2009
Tiger Woods says he has let his family down and regrets "those transgressions with all of my heart."
In a statement Wednesday on his website, Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.
In his statement, Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.
He also said he has been "dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means."
What are your thoughts on Woods' alleged extra-marital relationships? Have your say in our forum.
Who cares? This isn't even news. Tiger is a great golfer. End of story.

Rather than comment on Tiger Woods, I'd suggest that people watch "When Harry Met Sally" (one more time) and look hard at the older couples whose stories are inserted throughout the movie. Those people paint a picture of "the way things should be" - love, friendship and fidelity over 30 to 50+ years!! That's what I aspire to with my dear wife of 10 years.
Even if someone has made a mess of it all, forgiveness and a resolve to change can give a marriage a beautiful fresh start.

It all boils down to...who cares, and it should be private. Just another celebrity taking advantage of the status granted him due to his ability to play a sport, or act, or some other "talent" that raises him above the masses.
It is time to stop worshipping these types of celebrities and pay more attention to those that truly DESERVE to be honoured. Police, firemen, veterans, health care workers...these are examples of the people we should be holding in high esteem.

I guess having it all is not enough for some people. My Uncle used to say "Those who play pay" I am a father and I can't imagine doing anything like this to put hurt, pain or embarrasment on my family.

Loved watching golf only because of him. Won't anymore. He has truly disappointed us all!

the so called news media should be charged with stalking .

If there are problems within Tiger and Elin's home life, that is between them; not the rest of the world. Many have made the same mistake whether they have everything or nothing. If the allegations are true, I'm sure that any retribution will happen during marriage counselling or divorce court. Everyone pays for their mistakes in one way or another.

This matter should be private between Tiger and his family. There is no reason or need for this to be in the news!!!
