What are your thoughts on Tiger Woods?
Wed, December 2, 2009

Tiger Woods says he has let his family down and regrets "those transgressions with all of my heart."

In a statement Wednesday on his website, Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.

In his statement, Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

He also said he has been "dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means."

What are your thoughts on Woods' alleged extra-marital relationships? Have your say in our forum.

One word: meh! Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he's perfect. There are obviously some issues that he need to fix. Leave the guy alone and let him fix them. This does not take away the fact that he is a great golfer.

People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones.

Should be between him and his family - not the rest of the world. Does not change his game of golf in any way - he's still the best. I don't condone infidelity but let's face it - put 10 top athletes in a room and at least 7 of them will have cheated. Let's move on and leave them alone.

We are all human and prone to mistakes,no one is perfect.Leave the man alone to deal with this situation in private like it should be.

Theres nothing wrong with having vanilla ice cream with a various amounts of sprinkles on top.

Tiger Wood's is one of the greatest golfers of all time. What he does off the course is his bussiness. If he cheated who cares. He's not the only man, or woman that has ever had an affair. But with a beautiful wife such as Elin, I'd be spending more time alone, in bed, with her.

Who cares let the man live HIS life people. If his actions don't affect you personaly then when do you care? Over opinionated, no life yourself, nothing better to do???...You go Tiger! You only live once!

Yeah that's sad for his family. What's even sadder and profoundly toxic is the extent to which our voyeuristic "facebooking, twittering" populous have become. Do you not have enough in your lives to contend with? My god, what a stupid sick ass society we are!! GET A LIFE!!

Like John Bradley said below....famous or not, this is nobody's business but his family's.

Another weak man with low morals. I wonder how proud of him his father would be now if he was still with us. Can't any of these so called stars stay true to their wives?

Tiger Woods deserves all the scrutiny the media can bring. He wants to be a public figure on the international stage in a game played for money, then open you eyes, Tiger, it comes with the territory. Or did your handlers tell you otherwise. If he wants to keep his personal life private then quite golf, cancel all you endorsements and get out of the public eye. I now have to go into damage control and explain to my children who are of an age where they are aware of and understand this story that just because Tiger cheats on his family and lies about it, it's not acceptable behaviour. How many impressionable kids now believe that if it's okay for Tiger, then its okay for them later in life, everybody does it. Cheating that is, and if its okay to cheat on your family, then it should be okay to cheat and lie on just about everything in life. I have never liked this guy. Always came across as extremely arrogant and entitled. I hope his career tanks and his wife takes him for a huge settlement.
