What are your thoughts on Tiger Woods?
Wed, December 2, 2009

Tiger Woods says he has let his family down and regrets "those transgressions with all of my heart."

In a statement Wednesday on his website, Woods says he has not been "true to my values and the behaviour my family deserves." He offered his "profound apology" to his supporters.

In his statement, Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

He also said he has been "dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means."

What are your thoughts on Woods' alleged extra-marital relationships? Have your say in our forum.

tiger woods, is a human being, just like the rest of us.lets not condemn him for making a mistake. like, the rest of us never made a mistake.at least he stood up and admitted his error.i don't think he deserves, the way he's been treated.

Just the greatest golfer on Earth?

Way to not hype him up Bobby

Two teeth missing from a nine iron. He should just be glad his last name isn't Bobbitt.

A surprise yes but only cause he has been dragged into the light and crucified.

So the great athlete likes to bed pretty women . How is that different from any of hundreds of other sports and entertainment celebrities? He might be weak in the morals department but that does not excuse the open legged sluts that are now lining up to admit they slept with a married man.

This happens when we make heroes out of people who don't deserve it. He's just a guy who's the greatest golfer on earth. All the rest is marketing. Why all the outrage or surprise?

Thanks to Tiger I'm going to have to find a new line of golf clothing and equipment. This is going to cost me big time!!

Tiger Woods' feet are made of clay: he's a liar - saying he's sorry about his transgressions. He's not sorry about anything other than the daunting task of trying to calculate how many millions he's going to have to pay the his wife. He's not even embarrassed and will stride the fairways like a behemoth in a red shirt. What a hypocrite. He may pass Nicklaus and be annointed the best golfer ever, but he's not the man that is Jack Nicklaus. One is class the other classless.

As for his stupid, idiotic caddy....sure he knew! Who's he trying to fool. Better he should hie his way back to New Zealand and tend sheep. I prefer lamb.

It'll be a delight to see and hear the TV yelpers and how they try to minimize Woods' sexual indiscretions and continue to elevate him higher than Jesus Christ: Kelly Tilghman will almost cry as she babbles sweet, stupid nothings, still trying to make up for her "lynch him in the alley" remark jumped on by the ridiculous media who wouldn't say doo doo if they had a mouthful of it as they btry to ignore the up and coming young golfers who are a pleasure to watch. Oh! And see if they can utter a sentence without using the word "great" that now grates on my nerves.

With any luck, Woods will go skin diving among the baracudas....

I've heard enough of this crap. Who cares!! Tiger is one of millions of people who cheat on their spouse. Yet because he is rich and famous it seems to be different. It's not. We shouldn't even be medelling in his personal affairs (no pun intended). How does it affect anyone of us?!! It doesn't!!!! And if it does affect anyone personally, other than those directly involved, you have some serious issues.. Let it go.
Shane, 2010-01-02 12:34:55

One would have been a transgression, what Tiger did was more like a Dennis Rodman!
Probert, 2010-01-02 11:22:36

You let alot of people down Tiger..you were too good to be true.
