Okay Pens let's go! You just earned your way into a game seven. Now play your way to a Stanley Cup win. Don't give up -your fans are behind you.It is time for the Detroit dynasty to fall.

Mark S.,
What happens if they both play well?

How should I know? It's not up to us it's up to the players so why ask such a dumb question. If Pittsburgh plays well they win: if Detroit plays well they win.

Hey Jeff
It was fun and we are Canadians who love to have good conversation about hockey. Sorry if I insulted you in anyway I sure did not mean any harm just good old Canadian fun. As far as the birth place goes if you lived in winter for 6 months of the freakin year you would agree it has to be Wpg what the hell else can you do here?
All the best man.

I only got going with Ron becuase after I questioned an interference call, he went on to claim that he knew so much more about hockey and I didn't know what I was talking about. I was kind of irked because he didn't know me, and I think I know lots about the game without having to challenge anyone. The Cooke hit on Lidstrom when Osgood was playing the puck vindicated me. It was a clearer interference call that the refs did not call because Pitts was shorthanded at home. they would not call it. Anyway, I vowed to stay off of the forum after all that..it was silly..I wish Ron all the best and kind of feel bad it went South, but if someone challenges me and says they know so much more then I replied back. His prediction of Pens in fell through, so I say stop predicting with your heart. Datsyuk came back , was 1st star and I said it before the game that it would only get worse for the Pens.
As for the hockey birthplace...Where is Windsor NS. It's like Los Angeles saying they are the birthplace of soccerr... I mean football. Kingston has a much better claim to our national sport. What's the proof. Just kidding. I think many places can claim hockey but in reality Kingston is the front runner.

good riddance...

just read your comment from earlier and am wondering why that if you are Canadian what's the reason for having to state you played and reffed. That would be about 90% of us. Was it to somehow prove more expertise in the game?
At my age I BET I can skate circles around you and I was a goalie. The best skater on any team as it should be.
Kingston by the way is the birthplace of hockey. far from being a hick town.
You mistake my responses with anger. I have a smile on my face responding to a poser.
Do you still play? Remember that wearing a hockey helmet all day away from the rink doesn't qualify buddy.
i am done with this forum. I didn't realize it was mainly for amatuer fans. I'll go on to something more intelligent than responding to a Pens fan
