The Wings will definitely win the final game. Its written in the books well before the final whistle ends the entire NHL hockey season.1st off,the current recession has dictated that winning with Detroit, the much needed monies is recycled back into their economy. The auto indusstry is based in Detroit and with the Big 3 all going under. One can see where the money from winning one of sport's most prestigious awards is going to end up in. It's not for the sake of the sport any longer. Its merely for the financial gains and where better is the gain is needed but in Detroit. It a huge shame that overly high paid athletes have dictated/ taken away the enjoyment.Yet the fans continue to support them of the game which has been watered down like sweetened juice.Hockey has been my joy since I knew about the game, over time my desire to watch the game has dwindled.Whose going to win the final game of NHL season? Detriot Red Wings amid the glory, the big names and prestigious. The score will be close.

Ron,
May the best team win and hopefully a new team...Pens. It will be a tough grinding game though. No way either team can win without it being an epic battle. Teams are evenly matched.
Cheers.
I've been in Winnipeg in Feburary. It's too cold to put skates on there and play.

Officials are so inconsistant. I watch any other league (junior, international) and the officiating is more consistant. It has gotten worse this year... get rid of Bettman!

I hope the Pens win. I said a week ago to my facebook friends Pens in 7 in overtime

It's going to be close. Right now I think it will be the Red Wings but it depends how the Penguins play. If Crosby and Malkin and a few other players all do well they will win. If they sit back and let the Red Wings dominate they will lose.

I'm cheering for the Pens and for Hossa to have to explain again and again to reporters his reasoning for jumping ship to go to a "contender". I always liked Hossa as a player (despite his stick up on Berard) but this was not a class move on his part.

You can so see this inconsistancy.. Is it favourtisim or is it BETMAN calling the shots as to where he wants the CUP to GO ?

Can someone answer this question: Why do NHL refs are so inconsistent compare to other sports. Football, baseball and basketball are more consistent no matter if it is regular season or playoffs. Is This a sport or Entertainment (WWE).

Sorry I haven't followed the other teams much but isn't Hossa (a former Sens player) now with Detroit? and left Pittsburgh last year for the wings? in that case...I route for the PENS. I hate celine dion-wannabes like Hossa.

This has been a good series... From the cheap seats... I'll say Pittsburgh wins game 7 and the Cup in double OT.
