Alex Rodriguez offered new details Tuesday about his performance-enhancing drug use, saying his cousin injected him with an over-the-counter substance to gain an energy boost.
The New York Yankees star said using the banned drug that he said he obtained from the Dominican Republic was a "stupid mistake."
"I knew we weren't taking Tic Tacs," said Rodriguez.

That "equalization" payent the Yankees have to pay each year because they spend so much on ther roster (their BULLPEN gets more than something like 15 teams in the majors) is more than made up for by their local sweetheart TV deal. Which pays them more than the entire league receives from the major U.S. networks.
You have to wonder what it's like to be a fan of a team which, breaking spring training each season and looking at 162 games, knows they don't have the chance of a snowball in hell (hello Blue Jays).

No kidding it was a stupid mistake. Just remember you wreaked not only your overpaid and overpriced career but you scared all those fans that looked up to you expecially the children. I hear it's tomato night at the Ballpark and I have a whole sack of them for you

He should be thrown out of the league

But that will never happen, let's put it all into perpsective shall we...gambling (a legal venture) is far far worse than using an illegal substance to better your performance right?
