The whole economy is going to go into a deep recession - maybe even a depression worse than in the Thirties, yet the sports teams are oblivious to this.
There are going to be some sports franchises in the NHL and MLB go bankrupt in a few years if they don't control the spending.

People who are basically of the same intelligence are working at Tim Hortons, except they didn't happen to be blessed with athletic or acting/singing skills.
I know that they entertain us, but a lot of money is being made (an excessive amount by the owners, movie companies, producers, etc.).
That's why ticket prices are so high and beyond the average person for some sporting events.
