What are your thoughts on how the Leafs' roster is shaping up? Who should stay and who should go before the trade deadline? Have your say in our forum.
Pogge gets little support from Leafs
Put your glasses on and take another look at the Van Ryn and Grabovski incidents on YouTube. Clear intent to injure on Van Ryn hit, and I guess you didn't see Price's shot on Grabovski before he retaliated.
You don't watch much hockey, do you?

yes the check on Vasn Ryn was a bad check, although it was obvious it was unintentional, regardless it was punished. I guess crotching a goalie with the butt end of your stick (and deliberately it was.. caught on tape) is ok... no penalties...Grabovsky is a great player, too bad the Canadiens let him go... but that cheap shot was just that cheap...reason Koivu had a little talk to him on the ice...
BO HUTCH; you hit on the head...no mater how they play, corporate Toronto will always make the team very profitable.. and the to say the fans are pro Leafs is 100% correct.. they seem to forget that talent is what wins you cups... although I must admit I watched most of last nights game against the Bruins, and well they played very well for the most part, and Thomas stood on his head as well to give the Leafs another win..
And by the way.. Rangers ar ein 1st place with 30 pts in 21 games; Mtl has 22 pts in 16 games, and the Leafs have 18 pts in 19 games... so if math has not changes, the Leafs are more likely to be in 15th place as Florida is only 5 pts back with 3 games in hand... only the Sens look just as bleak...
But I must admit the Leafs play with passion;.. can they sustain it for 82 games?.. good luck.

Yes, I often agree that Toronto fans are fans of Toronto and the Leafs...not hockey. However, I guess they look for ANYTHING positive and on the band wagon they go! Even if it was only a fluke win!
They will do what they always do...make a run for 8th spot, but fall short. And there won't be an empty seat at the ACC.
And as long as that's happening, in the long run, I don't think much will change.

You are the epitome of Leafs Nation: win one game and act as though you just won the Stanley Cup. You fail to mention the fact the Oilers just came off a 7-game roadtrip(which they were 4-3 on) and have several injuries. A couple other fun facts for you. a)the Oilers were the last team between the two to win a Cup. b)the Oilers were the last team between the two to go to the finals. c)the Leafs are going to install Burke as GM shortly and then all progress will be lost as Burke and MLSEL will butt heads on everything.
Congratulations on that win though..
