I hope Cherry sticks around. Not only is he a Canadian icon after all these years but he's like a fly on the dressing room wall.
He tells it like it is and he's not afraid of the consequences. My favourite quote was "Canada is the garbage can of the world" and this was on CBC!!

Grapes is seven seconds ahead of the entire CBC brass. If you're going to let anyone go, that's where to begin. Don is great!

Don is the greatest and if the cbc lets him go I would stop watching Saturday nite hockey. I think Don should run for prime minister at least we can trust him.
