To Pete/Goober/Disgruntled (stolen nick) - whatever - here's a poem especially for you

Sometime when you're feeling important

Sometime when your ego's in bloom

Sometime when you take it for granted

You're the best qualified in the room

Take a bucket and fill it with water

Put your hand in it up to the wrist

Pull it out and the hole that's remaining

Is a measure of how much you'll be missed.

$3.5M/yr for Finger is absolutely shocking. The guy lacks stamina so badly that at the end of his shift he can only stand around. I predict he will be injured early in the season because he is basically a weakling. Recommendation to get Finger came from Laffs Director of Pro Scouting, the one and only Mike Penny. What a dumb move.

Again Wayne with nothing to add. Do you have something intelligent to say. Are you on vacation? Is the fryer broken again and you are on the unemployment bank roll. We've missed you and your wit, not! What do you have to offer, whom do you think should or should not be in the HOF, perhaps you can recite a shocking deal that has already taken place and claim credit for an original idea yet again. blah, blah, blah, your an idiot buddy.

Yea pete the 12 year old kid aka disgruntledfan and alot more ids thinks the HHOF is for Oilers and ex Oilers only lol.

He is just a kid, gets his so called knowledge from his dad the homer of all time lol

Rick W, I don't think any of the three sould be in HOF. Based on what, compared to whom. Your a typical Leaf fan, I'm surprised you didn't inlcude Gilmour or Dave Ellett or George Ferguson, christ do you guys think everyone who puts on a Leaf Jersey should be in the HOF. Given that the HOF is in TO and that it's run by the TO old boys club, you just might be right. Hopefully saner minds will decide.

Gord,

Thinking about it, I would put Sundin right between Wendell Clark and Dino Ciccarelli as far as entry to the HOF goes. None has won a cup, but Dino is on the high end as far as stats go whereas Clark falls on the end of leadership. All were invaluable to their teams and I think all 3 should be in.

Jagr going to play for Russia. never thought he'd defect...haha. but hey this is the guy that got a $48 million dollar contract to play for what...4 seasons? money talks. Actually a good riddance was Sens getting rid of Emery. he was too much of a loose cannon. on top of that, he didn't perform to expectations this year. you make a million dollars+ in net, you take your team to the playoffs...that simple...Gerber did that himself this past year.

I think the biggest signing is the non-signing of Ray Emery, just goes to show no one want a cancer on their team, good job NHL GM's!!!

More of a trade but Mikhael Grabovoski for Laffs' 2008's 5th rounder and 2009 2nd rounder!Shocked because the 2008 guy was never given a chance and a 2009 2nd rounder could be the 31st best player in Cda. All this for a 172 lb 3 goal scorer! Mikhael will make absolutely no difference to the Laffs' long term future. In 3 or 4 years the 5th rounder Laffs traded away could be better than Mikhael and for sure the 2nd rounder will be better. Laffs have got to think they will have lots of high draft choices and to get better they must get a better scouting staff who can make better decisions than has been the case for the past several decades. Because it is all so obvious Cliffhanger's move to acquire Mikhael is puzzling, troubling and shocking. I'll add stupid to the list.

Yes, I believe Hoglund was jeered out of Toronto.
